The Centre of Decommissioning Australia (CODA) is pleased to announce a new partnership with the Centre for Subsurface Well Integrity, Plugging and Abandonment (SWIPA), a Norwegian research centre at the global forefront of research on technologies and best practices for P&A. Their work aims to significantly reduce costs while upholding the highest standards for long-term well integrity.
As the sole APAC headquartered member, CODA looks to serve as a regional gateway to the research group’s expertise, strengthening CODA’s mission to connect innovators and build Australia’s decommissioning capabilities.
“We’re thrilled to partner with such a well-respected organisation like SWIPA. This expands CODA’s network tremendously, connecting us to leading international experts and the latest innovations in the field.” – Francis Norman, CODA CEO
Both organisations look forward to exchanging knowledge and promoting progress in responsible decommissioning practices.
