Offshore Construction Specialists (OCS) commenced operations in Singapore in 2007. The Company's focus is the provision of construction management, engineering, strategic equipment and consulting services primarily to the offshore oil and gas and renewable sectors. Continual changing dynamics in the marine construction sector have resulted in a shortage of properly qualified and motivated engineers with the right experience to deal with the range of complex issues faced by offshore operators and contractors. OCS employs a base load of personnel with extensive experience in all facets of marine construction.

Using experienced construction management, engineering and technical personnel OCS has developed and operates a comprehensive suite of strategic marine construction equipment. The equipment is comprehensive and covers key activities such as platform and pipeline decommissioning, pipeline pre-commissioning, pipeline free span corrections, pipeline pre and post-trenching, pile remediation etc. This equipment can be deployed from our UB-01 “Miss Pennie” or on a stand-alone basis from 3rd party equipment.

OCS decommissioning spread includes best in class internal and external ultra-high pressure water abrasive cutting equipment, diamond wire cutter, soil plug removal tool, high pressure / volume centrifugal and positive displacement pumps, pile handling tools supplemented with hose spoolers and hydraulic power packs. Our well-equipped Singapore and Batam fabrication shops fabricate and assemble new bespoke equipment developed in-house by OCS engineering and ensure existing equipment is maintained to the highest standards.
